Individual leadership or Grassroots leadership is a form of leadership in which the people who are leading are not coming from the top of an elite family, organization or society. Individual or grassroot leaders must be recognise since they have the knowledge, capabilities, and skills to address complex challenges through systems change.
They must learn to inspire and encourage subordinates, define the working atmosphere, and align the needs of subordinates and the organization. Sustainable leaders must have the capabilities, and skills to address complex challenges through systems change. Sustainable aspiring leaders got to sustain themselves and others as they pursue deep learning as the central moral purpose in their educational establishments.
Sustainable leaders think globally and towards the future; while some are showing a caring attitude and ready to be radical about peace building and achieving sustainable development goals like quality education, peace development, gender equality, end poverty, hunger and inequality, climate change and protect the environment, build strong institutions and creating partnerships. Sustainable leaders are entrepreneurs and team members should engage in co-design or co- create social innovation for long-term sustainable benefits for both local or national community.
Sustainable individual leaders or say grassroot leaders should have a set of personal characters and managerial traits that enable him/her to lead with empathy.
